Roger Federer the second seed suffer a loss to Tomas Berdych for second time. In the start federer took control of the match and only one break was necessar to close out the first set. He won that set by 6-3.
In the second he stumbled a little bit and lost his serve and set goes to the stage where Tomas Berdych was serving for the set. But federer showed master class and broken Berdych serve to come back in the set and hold serve to take set at 5-5.
In the next game federer was 15-40 up and had two break point chances to serve for the match but Tomas Berdych put two huge serves to save those Break points and took that game. At last second set went in tie break.
In that tie break at first Berdych took the lead 5-2 but Federer again come back and won five consecutive points to get to the match point and could not convert it. After that he had two more match points but unfortunately he was not able to convert these points. Berdych won that tie break by 10-8.

On the other hand Djokovic defeated Del Potro by 6-3 7-6. In the first set Djokovic got full advantage of only lose service game by Del Potro. Del Potro had to pay a heavy price and lost that set. In the second set both of the guys show strength on serve and whole of the set countinue without break of serve. In the tie break Djokovic showed that why he was world no 1. And he took that tie break comprehensively and reached into the final of Dubai Open.
