Nadal Won Indian Wells But Del Potro Is Hero Of Tournament

Rafael Nadal make a strong comeback as it was expected.  He remained away from tennis courts for ten months, he is well rested and well prepared now.  He always makes a strong comeback when he returns to court after long time.  He did that once when he lost at French Open semi final to Robin Soderling, he skipped that year's Wimbledon and some other tournament.  But he made a strong comeback and won three grand slam titles in 2013.  He is looking as fit as once he was.  He can now come to the top of the ranking again.
In the Indian Wells masters he defeated Del Potro despite losing the first set by 4-6.  But after that he made a great fight back and won the other two sets by 6-4 6-4.  He proved again that he a greatest fighter in the game of tennis.  Del Potro gave every thing that he has to win this tournament for the first time in his career, but Nadal was so much commited this time.  He played a great game especially at important points.  He won two and half hours battle in three tight sets.  Del Potro was in such a good position to win the tournament but Nadal broke the Del Potro dreams of winning first ever indian wells title.  He won this title for the third time in his career.  The most positive thing for Nadal is that he won his first ever hard court title after winning 2010 US open title.  And he has completed his 600th win.  He now become the only man with Federer to win 600 or more matches on tour.
As far as Del Potro's performance is concerned, he showed that he has a champion in himself.  He defeated Andy Murray in quarters and Djokovic in the semis.  And he defeated both of these guys when he was a set down against them.  Murray and Djokovic plays at such a high level that it is difficult to imagine that if they are leading a set, they will lose.  But Del Potro proved that he can do it.  Unfortunately in the final he took a set from Nadal but Nadal was the man on a mission.  Although Del Potro is runner up, my in my sight he is real hero of the tournament.
